SAT EXPANDS THE BREADTH OF POLYMER SOLUTIONS & MATERIAL CONFIGURATIONS. At SAT Plating, we have expanded the universe of plateable plastics to include ASA, TPO, PA (nylon), PPS, PEEK and PEI (Ultem™), just to name a few. SAT processes enable treatable plastics to include these highly difficult-to-plate polymers (usually considered "not plateable") often achieving higher performance with lower cost.

SAT's EXPERTISE IN SURFACE PREPARATION MAKES THE DIFFERENCE. SAT Plating’s proprietary Surface Activation® Processing enables us to plate previously difficult-to-plate plastics. This breakthrough technology atomically alters the surface of the plastic and uses no abrasive blasting or hazardous chemical etching of the substrate. This surface preparation enables enhanced hydrophilic properties and results in superior adhesion of metal plating to polymer substrates – with zero dimensional change to the injection molded parts.

OUR TECHNOLOGY & TREATMENT PROCESSES EXPAND THE RANGE OF POLYMER CHOICES AND MATERIAL CONFIGURATIONS TO INCLUDE:
